Church BBQ Hosts 7/14

Hello Friends!!

How has your summer been?! We’ve been trying our hardest to keep up with the summer days, but they’re still flying by so fast! We miss seeing you all on a regular basis and hope you’re all doing well 😊

I’m reaching out to you all because we have been asked by Bethany Thompson if our community group would be willing to rally together to host the BBQ after church next Sunday, 7/14. These are the duties we’d be responsible for:

• help provide side dishes and dessert
• Bring 2 grills before service to keep brisket warm and to grill hot dogs
• 1 or 2 people to step out of service early to grill hotdogs
• Help with cleanup

The whole church will be asked to bring side dishes, but Bethany is wanting to ensure that we will have some, so she’s asking our CG to take the lead on that. If you have a grill you’re willing to lend, but concerned about how to get it to the church, let us know and we can help with transporting it there. We’d really appreciate it, and it would be nice to be able to give Bethany a heads up 😊 We really feel like this will be a cool way for us to serve together as a community group and also to reconnect as a group since it’s been so long since we’ve met together.
